
SURABAYA, April 6, 2026 – The spirit of Eid al-Fitr remains strong at the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), Universitas Airlangga. On Monday (April 6), members of the FST UNAIR academic community gathered in Room 322AB. They attended the 2026 Halal Bihalal event in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Moreover, this event strengthened relationships among faculty members. Lecturers, administrative staff, and students participated together. Therefore, a sense of togetherness was evident from the beginning of the event.
Opening and Qur’anic Recitation
The Dean of FST UNAIR, Prof. Dr. Miratul Khasanah, M.Si., officially opened the event. She emphasized the importance of maintaining harmony within the faculty. In addition, she encouraged all members to strengthen solidarity.

Furthermore, Aji, the Head of the FST UNAIR Student Executive Board (BEM), delivered a Qur’anic recitation. His presence reflected the synergy between students and faculty leadership. Meanwhile, participants followed the program attentively.
Religious Lecture: Beneficial Knowledge and Returning to Fitrah
Subsequently, Prof. Dr. Salamun, M.Kes., delivered the main religious lecture (tausiyah). He highlighted the importance of beneficial knowledge. Therefore, educators should continuously share their knowledge.

In addition, he explained the meaning of Eid al-Fitr as a moment to return to one’s pure nature (fitrah). He encouraged participants to uphold honesty and integrity. Thus, individuals can improve themselves after Ramadan.
On the other hand, the Islamic Arts Student Unit (MSR) UNAIR performed a banjari musical presentation. This performance created a calm and spiritual atmosphere. Participants enjoyed the melodic recitation of selawat.
Appreciation for Retirees and Interactive Session
Next, FST UNAIR presented appreciation to lecturers and staff entering retirement. Faculty leaders expressed gratitude for their long-term dedication. This moment felt emotional and respectful.

In addition, the committee organized interactive games. Participants joined enthusiastically. As a result, the atmosphere became more relaxed and engaging.
Closing Session and Prayer
Finally, Prof. Dr. Khusnul Ain, M.Si., led the closing prayer. She prayed for the health and blessings of all academic community members. Thus, the event strengthened solidarity and togetherness among participants.
