Surabaya, Tuesday, February 4, 2025 – The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) welcomed a visit from SMAN 1 Cikarang Pusat Bekasi to provide academic insights to students regarding university life and preparations for higher education entrance.
The visit was warmly received by Prof. Dr. Fatmawati, M.Si., the Vice Dean III of FST UNAIR. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of understanding the field of study that students will choose in university to support their personal development and career in the future. Meanwhile, a representative from SMAN 1 Cikarang Pusat Bekasi, Mrs. Hj. Candra Khusniah, S.Pd., M.Pd., expressed appreciation for the opportunity as a first step for the students to become more familiar with the academic environment at the university.
In addition to gaining insights into university life at FST UNAIR, the students also received information about various admission pathways to Universitas Airlangga, such as SNBP, SNBT, Golden Ticket, and Independent Selection. FST UNAIR students also shared their experiences and offered tips to the students on preparing for university entrance exams, including effective study strategies and advice on selecting a study program based on interests and potential.
It is hoped that through this visit, the students will be more motivated to continue their education to higher levels and be better prepared for the university entrance selection process.
