
On September 1, 2024, Universitas Airlangga held a Working Meeting and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with Secretaries of Department and Coordinators of Study Program (KPS) at the Keraton Ballroom, Marriott Hotel, Yogyakarta. The event was attended by more than 250 participants, consisting of Secretaries of Department and Coordinators of Study Program from all study programs at Universitas Airlangga.
During the event, Prof. Mohammad Nasih, the Rector of Universitas Airlangga, led a discussion about the employability of UNAIR graduates and the factors that influence graduate quality. “We continue to strive to improve the quality of graduates at Universitas Airlangga. Employability is certainly one of the benchmarks of a university’s quality,” he stated.
In addition to the FGD and Working Meeting, a poster competition was held, participated in by all the Study Programs at Universitas Airlangga. The theme of the competition was “Outstanding Programs to Enhance Undergraduate Learning at Universitas Airlangga.” The Information Systems Study Program also participated in this competition and through the hard work of the entire team, succeeded in securing 2nd place as the best outstanding program at the undergraduate level.

This achievement highlights the commitment of the Information Systems Study Program to innovation, industry relevance, and student success. The poster presented a new approach to addressing real-world challenges, in line with the latest industry trends, and preparing students for successful careers. The program is supported by qualified faculty members, who provide guidance and direction to students. The program’s accreditation also demonstrates that it meets industry standards and opens doors for international recognition.
With this accomplishment, the Information Systems Study Program further strengthens its position as one of the leading study programs at Universitas Airlangga and remains committed to making a positive contribution to the world of education.
