FST UNAIR Lecturer Meeting served as an important forum for lecturers of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), Universitas Airlangga, to receive updates on academic administration and educational policies. Held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the FST Meeting Room, the event focused on two strategic topics: the newly developed academic advising features in Cybercampus and the student credit conversion system for activities conducted outside study programs. Through this forum, the faculty strengthened academic coordination while ensuring that lecturers remained informed about the latest developments in university regulations and services.
The event brought together lecturers from various departments within FST UNAIR. In addition, it provided an opportunity for participants to engage directly with experts from the Directorate of Education. FST UNAIR Lecturer Meeting Introduces New Cybercampus Academic Advising Features
During the first session, Dimas Dwi Arbi, S.Kom., Head of the Registration and Data Processing Section at the Directorate of Education, introduced the latest enhancements to the Cybercampus academic advising system. These updates aim to improve the effectiveness of academic supervision while simplifying administrative processes for both lecturers and students.
Furthermore, the new features enable academic advisors to monitor student progress more efficiently. Lecturers can now access important academic information through a more organized and user-friendly interface. Consequently, the advising process becomes more structured and data-driven.
In addition, the session demonstrated several practical applications of the updated system. Participants learned how to track student performance, review academic records, and provide timely guidance. Meanwhile, an interactive discussion allowed lecturers to share their experiences and raise questions regarding system implementation. Therefore, the session not only introduced new tools but also encouraged collaborative problem-solving among participants.
FST UNAIR Lecturer Meeting Reviews Student Credit Conversion Outside Study Programs
The second session featured Dian Fristyawati, S.KM., Head of the Study Program Development and Evaluation Section at the Directorate of Education. She explained the procedures for converting academic credits earned through activities conducted outside students’ home study programs.
This topic has become increasingly relevant as more students participate in interdisciplinary learning opportunities, independent study programs, internships, community projects, and other educational activities beyond their departments. Consequently, universities must establish clear mechanisms to recognize and convert these learning experiences into academic credits.
Moreover, the presentation outlined administrative requirements, assessment procedures, and documentation standards necessary for credit conversion. By providing a clear framework, the university ensures transparency and consistency across study programs. At the same time, lecturers gain a better understanding of their role in guiding students throughout the process.
Through the FST UNAIR Lecturer Meeting, the Faculty of Science and Technology reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing academic services and supporting educational innovation. Furthermore, the event strengthened communication among faculty members while promoting a consistent understanding of academic policies.
