The UNAIR Tuition Fee Reduction Program for the 2026/2027 Odd Semester is available for continuing students. The program aims to support students who are experiencing financial hardship, entering their final semester, or meeting specific academic requirements. Therefore, students should understand the eligibility criteria, application procedures, and important deadlines from the outset. With proper preparation, they can complete the administrative process more efficiently and avoid complications during the tuition payment period.
Eligibility Requirements for Tuition Fee Reduction
Students enrolled in Diploma III (D3), Applied Bachelor (D4), Undergraduate (S1), and Professional Programs may apply for a tuition fee reduction if they are facing financial difficulties. Applicants must submit either a Certificate of Financial Hardship (Surat Keterangan Tidak Mampu/SKTM) or proof of enrollment in the National Integrated Socioeconomic Data (DTSEN) program. Final-semester students are also eligible for tuition fee reductions. To qualify, they must be enrolled in no more than six credit units (6 credits/SKS) and provide an official certification from their faculty. In addition, students enrolled in Professional, Master’s, Doctoral, Specialist, and Subspecialist Programs may apply according to the provisions outlined in the official university circular.
Application Schedule and Important Information
Universitas Airlangga has scheduled the online application period through the Cybercampus system from June 25 to July 5, 2026. After the submission period closes, each faculty will verify the applications according to the established timeline. Subsequently, the Directorate of Finance will evaluate the verification results and issue the final decisions.
Meanwhile, tuition payments for the 2026/2027 Odd Semester can be made between July 22 and August 5, 2026. Therefore, students are advised to prepare all required documents well in advance to ensure that their applications are completed before the payment period begins.
Students who complete their graduation (yudisium) no later than July 31, 2026, are also eligible for a full tuition fee exemption in accordance with university regulations. If they have already paid their tuition before the graduation decision is finalized, they may request a refund through the established reimbursement procedure. Furthermore, Master’s and Doctoral students experiencing financial hardship may choose an installment payment scheme for their tuition fees.
Through this policy, Universitas Airlangga seeks to provide greater financial flexibility for its students. Therefore, students are encouraged to carefully review all eligibility requirements, prepare the necessary supporting documents, and follow each application stage according to the official schedule. By doing so, they can ensure a smoother administrative process and improve their chances of receiving tuition fee assistance.
