To enhance synergy among all academic community elements, Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) held the Department Head Work Meeting (Kadep) and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) from Saturday, September 21, 2024, to Monday, September 23, 2024. The event was officially opened by UNAIR Rector, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, S.E., M.T., Ak., and attended by Vice Rectors, Deans, and Department Heads from various faculties at UNAIR.
This event aimed to strengthen collaboration and coordination among departments in achieving common goals. In addition to the Work Meeting and FGD, a poster competition was held, featuring participation from all departments within Universitas Airlangga. This competition served as a platform to showcase innovation and creativity in human resource development.
In this competition, the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science and Technology, achieved remarkable success by winning Second Place in the poster competition under the Non-Health and Medicine category. The poster, themed “Transformation and Strategic Synergy of Departments for the Optimization of Future Human Resources: Excellence, Competitiveness, and Sustainability,” reflected the department’s dedication and hard work in developing leading programs that contribute to the advancement of high-quality and competitive human resources.
This achievement is not only a source of pride for the Department of Physics but also highlights Universitas Airlangga’s commitment to producing graduates equipped with comprehensive skills and knowledge to face future challenges. With continued synergy, it is hoped that all members of UNAIR’s academic community can contribute optimally to enhancing the quality of education and research at the university.
