Simposium dengan tema “Kontribusi Universitas Brawijaya pada Pembangunan Berkelanjutan Peta Jalan Tridharma Universitas Brawijaya dalam Pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan Indonesia 2030” yang akan dilaksanakan pada hari Jumat, 12 Februari 2016 di Gedung Fakultas Teknologi Pertanian Universitas Brawijaya Malang

INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON SUSTAINABLE FOOD AND ENERGY

Background
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), officially known as Transforming Our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, are an intergovernmental set of aspiration of 17 goals with 169 targets covering a broad range of sustainable development issues. Through this International Seminar on Sustainable Food and Energy, Universitas Brawijaya aims to actively disseminate the SDGs concepts to wider communities, particularly the academic and research communities. Along with this International Seminar, a symposium to generate a major contribution from Universitas Brawijaya academics to the formulation of policies in the Indonesian’s roadmap for SDGs is also conducted.

Latar Belakang
Seminar ini memiliki tujuan memfasilitasi para akademisi untuk menyumbangkan ide dan pemikiran sesuai dengan bidang kepakarannya dalam kerangka tema Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Selain itu, seminar ini bertujuan untuk mendiseminasikan hasil penelitian dan kegiatan ilmiah para akademisi sesuai tema dalam SDGs.

Tema Seminar
Tema seminar sesi presentasi makalah ini adalah “Kontribusi pada Akademisi dalam Pencapaian Pembangunan Berkelanjutan”. Topik-topik dalam kegiatan seminar ini mengacu kepada 17 tujuan SDGs dengan beberapa penggabungan sehingga menjadi topik dan subtopik sebagai berikut:

Peserta
Dosen, mahasiswa, guru, institusi swasta atau pemerintah, LSM, dan lainnya
Peserta diwajibkan mendaftarkan diri kepada panitia dengan mengisi formulir terlampir dan abstrak (bagi penyaji) dan diserahkan paling lambat tanggal 23 Januari 2016.

Penyaji
– Penyaji terbuka untuk umum baik dari Universitas Brawijaya maupun di luar Universitas Brawijaya.
– Penyaji diharuskan memilih satu dari 8 topik yang tersedia
– Penyaji diwajibkan menyerahkan formulir dan abstrak yang terdiri dari: judul makalah, nama penyaji, afiliasi institusi dilengkapi dengan alamat email dan no. kontak, isi abstrak yang terdiri dari maksimum 250 kata, serta 5 kata kunci, dengan jenis huruf Tahoma 12.
– Abstrak disertai dengan formulir pendaftaran sebagai penyaji diserahkan kepada panitia paling lambat 1 Februari 2016 melalui email ke sekretariat panitia email ftp.brawijaya@gmail.com atau Ika Atsari Dewi, STP, MP email ikamie@yahoo.com atau ikamie@gmail.com.
– Presentasi oral terdiri dari 10 menit penyajian dan 5 menit tanya jawab.
– Panitia akan menyeleksi setiap abstrak yang masuk dan pengumuman abstrak yang diterima dilakukan pada tanggal 4 Februari 2016 melalui email.
– Jumlah peserta dan pemakalah terbatas.

Fasilitas
Setiap peserta dan penyaji akan mendapat fasilitas berupa: seminar kit, coffee break, makan siang, dan sertifikat. Panitia tidak menyediakan akomodasi.

Biaya
Seminar ini tidak dipungut biaya. Panitia hanya membatasi peserta sejumlah 15 penyaji per topik dan peserta keseluruhan sebanyak 300 orang untuk semua topik.

Latar Belakang
Simposium ini bertujuan untuk mempertemukan sekelompok pakar Universitas Brawijaya dalam bidang pangan, energi, lingkungan, pendidikan, gender, kemiskinan, ekonomi, dan kesehatan (8 bidang simposium) dan civitas Universitas Brawijaya lainnya. Tujuan berikutnya adalah membuat rekomendasi kebijakan pembangunan pada 8 (delapan) bidang pembangunan berkelanjutan Indonesia 2030.

  2. National Seminar with the theme of “Academic Contribution in Sustainable Developmennt Goals” that will be held on Friday, 12 February 2016 at Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Brawijaya University, Malang;
  3. Symposium with the theme of “Brawijaya University’s Contribution to Sustainable Development of the Three Pillars of Brawijaya University in Achieving the Objective of Sustainable Development in Indonesia 2030” that will be held on Friday, 12 February 2016 at the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Brawijaya University, Malang.

Therefore, we request you to convey this information to all lecturers in the Faculty/Study Program that you lead. Background
This seminar aims to facilitate academics to contribute ideas and thoughts according to their expertise in the theme of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Lecturers, university students, teachers, private institutions or the government, NGO, etc.
Participants must register by completing the attached form and abstract (for presenters) and submitting it by 23 January 2016.

Presenters
– Presenters are open for public, both from Brawijaya University and outside of Brawijaya University
– Presenters must choose one of the 8 available topics
– Presenters must submit form and abstract that consists of the title of the paper, the name of the presenters, institutional affiliation completed with email address and contact number. The abstract contains maximum 250 words and 5 keywords in Tahoma 12 font.
– Abstract is accompanied by registration form as presenter and submitted to the committee by 1 February 2016 through email to committee secretariat email ftp.brawijaya@gmail.com or to Ika Atsari Dewi, STP, MP (email: ikamie@yahoo.com or ikamie@gmail.com).
– Oral presentation consists of 10 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes of question and answer session.
– Committee will select every received abstract and selected abstracts will be announced on 4 February 2016 through email.
– The number of participants and presenters is limited.

Facilities
Every participant and presenter will get facilities as follows: seminar kit, coffee break, lunch, and certificate. Committee does not provide accommodation.

Fee
This seminar free of charge. Committee only limits the number of presenters to 15 presenters per topic and the number of participants to 300 participants for all topics.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT SYMPOSIUM
Universitas Brawijaya’s Contribution on Sustainable Development: Recommendations for Eight Sustainable Development Goals for Indonesia 2030


Background
This symposium aims to gather a group of experts in Universitas Brawijaya in food, energy, environment, education, gender, poverty, economy, and health (8 fields of symposium) and other academic communities of Universitas Brawijaya. The next objective is to make recommendation of development policies on 8 (eight) fields of sustainable development for Indonesia 2030.
