Para Asisten Pangarmatim dan Para Kasatker Makoarmatim serta pejabat TNI- Polri wilayah Surabaya hadir pada acara Pembukaan Pameran Alutsista TNI.

Pameran Alutsista TNI yang dibuka oleh Kasgartap III Surabaya Bigjen TNI (Mar) R. Gatot Suprapto didampingi Kasdam V Brawijaya Brigjen TNI Joppie Ones. W, Kasarmatim Laksma TNI Mintoro Yulianto S.Sos, M.Si. dan Rektor Universitas Airlangga Profesor Mohammad Nasih.

Dalam sambutan yang dibacakan Kasgartap III Surabaya Brigjen TNI (Mar) R. Gatot Suprapto, Dangartap III Surabaya Mayjen TNI Sumardi  mengatakan, Pameran Alutsista TNI yang berlangsung selama 2 hari digelar dalam rangka memeriahkan Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) TNI yang ke 70 dan Dies Natalis Unair yang ke 61, sekaligus untuk menginformasikan dan menampilkan berbagai alutsista yang dimiliki TNI kepada Mahasiswa dan masyarakat luas, kemudian pameran ini juga merupakan wujud kesiapan TNI dalam mengemban tugas pokoknya, baik dalam OMP maupun OMSP sekaligus sebagai bentuk pertanggung jawaban atas anggaran negara yang dialokasikan kepada TNI.

“Unair ingin menginspirasi mahasiswa bahwa ada banyak alat sederhana, namun kita beli dari luar negeri, sehingga kami memacu mahasiswa tergerak untuk berinovasi di bidangnya karena perang antar-negara ke depan tidak hanya menggunakan alat, melainkan juga perang ideologi, pengetahuan dan teknologi,” jelasnya.

“Pada Pameran Alutsista ini digelar berbagai jenis peralatan tempur, baik alutsista buatan negara sahabat maupun alutsista karya putra-putri anak bangsa, seperti PT Pindad, PT Dirgantara Indonesia, termasuk alutsista hasil modifikasi, rekayasa dan rancang bangun program penelitian dan pengembangan TNI baik dari TNI AD, AL dan AU serta pemberdayaan industri pertahanan nasional,” katanya.

Selesai acara pembukaan pameran Alutsista, panitia mengajak rombongan untuk meninjau lokasi pameran Alutsista yang di miliki TNI AD, AL , AU, PT Pindad dan PT Dirgantara Indonesia.{:}{:en}

The Exhibition of Alutsista TNI was opened by the Head of Permanent Garrison III Surabaya, TNI (Mar) Brigadier General R. Gatot Suprapto accompanied by TNI Staff Chief of Military Regional V Brawijaya Brigadier General Joppie Ones W., TNI Staff Chief of the Indonesian Eastern Fleet Mintoro Yulianto, S.Sos., and Rector of Universitas Airlangga Professor Mohammad Nasih.

In the opening speech that was cited by the Head of Permanent Garrison III Surabaya, TNI (Mar) Brigadier General R. Gatot Suprapto, TNI Commander of Permanent Garrison III Surabaya Mayor General Sumardi said that the Exhibition of Alutsista TNI, which is held for 2 days, is carried out to celebrate the 70^th Anniversary of TNI and the 61^st Anniversary of Universitas Airlangga as well as to exhibit the main weapons of the arsenal system of TNI to university students and the general public. This exhibition is also a realization of TNI’s readiness in carrying out their main duty, both in OMP and OMSP. Moreover, it is a form of responsibility of the state budget allocated for TNI.

“Unair wants to inspire its students that there are many simple devices, but we imported them. Thus, we encourage the students to innovate in their field because war between countries in the future does not only involve weapons but also ideology, knowledge, and technology,” he explained.

“This Alutsista Exhibition displays various kinds of combat equipment, both Alutsista made by friendly countries and Alutsista made by the children of the nation, such as PT Pindad, PT Dirgantara Indonesia. It also displays Alutsista made with modifications, engineering, designs of TNI research and development program that involved the Indonesian Army, Navy, and Air Force, as well as the national defense empowerment industry,” he added.

After the Opening of Alutsista Exhibition was finished, the committee invited the group to observe the location of Alutsista Exhibition by the Indonesian Army, Navy, Air Force, PT Pindad, and PT Dirgantara Indonesia.{:}
