The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR), welcomed a delegation from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), on <strong data-start=\"425\" data-end=\"451\">Tuesday, June 30, 2026<\/strong>. The meeting was held in the Faculty Meeting Room on the second floor of FST UNAIR. The forum served as a platform for exchanging experiences while reinforcing academic collaboration.<\/p><br\/><p data-start=\"637\" data-end=\"971\"><\/p><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"627\" src=\"https:\/\/fst.unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/8A-1024x627.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23258\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fst.unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/8A-1024x627.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/fst.unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/8A-300x184.jpg 300w, https:\/\/fst.unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/8A-768x470.jpg 768w, https:\/\/fst.unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/8A.jpg 1176w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"637\" data-end=\"971\">In addition, both faculties discussed the development of <strong data-start=\"694\" data-end=\"717\">fast-track programs<\/strong>, curriculum design, and the implementation of <strong data-start=\"764\" data-end=\"827\">research-based master&#8217;s and doctoral programs (by research)<\/strong>. Therefore, participants used the opportunity to share best practices that have been successfully implemented at their respective institutions.<\/p><br\/><p data-start=\"973\" data-end=\"1311\"><\/p><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Dean of FST UNAIR, Prof. Dr. Miratul Khasanah, M.Si., officially opened the event and welcomed the FMIPA UNS delegation. She emphasized that collaboration between faculties can accelerate innovation in higher education. Furthermore, she encouraged all participants to strengthen academic networks through sustainable partnerships.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, the Dean of FMIPA UNS, Prof. Dr. Desi Suci Handayani, S.Si., M.Si., led the delegation from Surakarta. She introduced the faculty leadership team participating in the visit and reaffirmed FMIPA UNS&#8217;s commitment to advancing graduate education through academic collaboration.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Strategic Discussion on Fast-Track Programs and Research-Based Education<\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the opening session, both faculties proceeded to the main discussion. The Vice Dean III for Research, Community Service, and Cooperation at FST UNAIR, Prof. Dr. Fatmawati, M.Si., also participated in the meeting. Subsequently, the Coordinators of the Master&#8217;s and Doctoral Programs in Science at FST UNAIR shared their experiences in managing graduate education.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"586\" src=\"https:\/\/fst.unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/8B-1024x586.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23260\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fst.unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/8B-1024x586.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/fst.unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/8B-300x172.jpg 300w, https:\/\/fst.unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/8B-768x439.jpg 768w, https:\/\/fst.unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/8B.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants discussed research-based curricula, student admission mechanisms, and academic supervision systems. In addition, they explored the international scientific publication requirements for master&#8217;s and doctoral students. The program coordinators then explained their experience in aligning undergraduate and master&#8217;s curricula. They also presented strategies for mentoring students from the proposal development stage through international scientific publication.<\/p><br\/><p data-start=\"2748\" data-end=\"2981\"><\/p><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the other hand, FMIPA UNS shared its own experiences in developing graduate education. Consequently, the discussion became highly interactive, allowing participants to exchange ideas on academic challenges and practical solutions.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sustainable Collaboration to Advance Graduate Education<\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"3043\" data-end=\"3410\">Through this forum, <strong data-start=\"3063\" data-end=\"3090\">FMIPA UNS and FST UNAIR<\/strong> reaffirmed their commitment to developing long-term academic collaboration. In addition to discussing graduate program management, both faculties explored opportunities for joint research initiatives. Furthermore, they discussed faculty exchange programs, scientific seminars, and the development of adaptive curricula.<\/p><br\/><p data-start=\"3412\" data-end=\"3682\"><\/p><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Therefore, both institutions agreed to maintain continuous communication and explore collaborative work plans in education, research, and community service. Both faculties continue to promote the development of master&#8217;s, doctoral, and fast-track programs that respond to future academic and industry needs. Consequently, this partnership is expected to generate more academic innovations and impactful research.<\/p><br\/><p data-start=\"4074\" data-end=\"4416\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><\/p><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event concluded with a group photo session and the exchange of commemorative gifts. The occasion symbolized the strong relationship between <strong data-start=\"4218\" data-end=\"4245\">FMIPA UNS and FST UNAIR<\/strong>. Looking ahead, both institutions will continue their collaboration through various initiatives that contribute to education, research, innovation, and community service.<\/p>\n\n<p
