
SURABAYA, April 10, 2026 – The Faculty of Science and Technology Universitas Airlangga (FST UNAIR) held a Faculty Gathering (Temu Dosen) as a forum for academic communication. The event brought together faculty leaders and lecturers in a coordinated discussion forum. In addition, the meeting aimed to deliver strategic information to the academic community. Therefore, the faculty leadership invited all lecturers to participate in the forum.
The Faculty Gathering took place on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. The session ran from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. WIB. The faculty organized the meeting online through Zoom. As a result, lecturers could join the meeting from various locations. Through this forum, the faculty shared the latest academic information. In addition, lecturers received updates regarding staffing policies. These updates helped lecturers understand the development of faculty policies more clearly.
On the other hand, the faculty also presented updates on internal research programs. The information included research support and opportunities to strengthen lecturers’ research activities. Therefore, the forum provided an important opportunity for lecturers to understand the direction of research development within the faculty. In addition to research, the faculty also discussed community service programs. These initiatives encourage lecturers to expand the impact of their expertise in society. As a result, the tridharma of higher education can continue to develop optimally.
Academic Networking and Strengthening Institutional Communication

The Faculty Gathering also served as an academic networking space for lecturers. Through this forum, lecturers received direct updates from the faculty. Moreover, the event strengthened communication between faculty leadership and the academic community. Open communication helped lecturers understand faculty policies more comprehensively.
