Surabaya, Monday, February 10, 2025 – The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of Universitas Airlangga welcomed a visit from SMA Alfa Centauri Bandung to provide students with information about campus life and how to prepare for University entrance examination.
The visit was warmly welcomed by Dr. M. Fariz Fadillah Mardianto, M.Si., the Public Relations Officer of FST UNAIR. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of understanding the chosen field of study at university to support personal and career development in the future. Meanwhile, a representative from SMA Alfa Centauri Bandung, Mr. Gema August Setiawan, M.Pd., expressed hope that this activity would increase the students’ interest in studying at Universitas Airlangga.
After gaining insights about campus life at FST UNAIR, the students also received information about various entrance examinations to Airlangga University, such as SNBP, SNBT, Golden Ticket, and Independent Selection. UNAIR ambassadors (Duta Ibra and Duta Ika) also shared their experiences and offered tips on preparing for university entrance exams, including effective study strategies and advice on choosing study programs based on interests and potential.
It is hoped that this visit will inspire the students to pursue higher education and prepare them for the university entrance selection process. Moreover, this activity is expected to support the best practices of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4, which focuses on quality education.
