Surabaya, Monday, February 3, 2025 – The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) at Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) welcomed a visit from MAN 22 Jakarta to provide students with information about university life and preparation for higher education.
The visit was warmly welcomed by Dr. M. Fariz Fadillah Mardianto, M.Si., the Public Relations Officer of FST UNAIR. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of understanding the field of study that students will choose in higher education to support their personal development and future careers. Meanwhile, the representative from MAN 22 Jakarta, Mrs. Deasi Satrina, M.Si., appreciated this opportunity as a catalyst to motivate students to continue their higher education at Universitas Airlangga.
In addition to gaining insights into university life at FST UNAIR, the students also received information about various entry routes to Universitas Airlangga, such as SNBP, SNBT, Golden Ticket, and Independent Selection. FST UNAIR ambassadors shared their experiences and provided tips to the students on preparing for university entrance selection, including effective study strategies and how to choose a program of study based on their interests and potential.
It is hoped that through this visit, the students will be further inspired to continue their education to higher levels and be better prepared for the university entrance selection process. Additionally, this event is expected to support the practice of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number four, which focuses on quality education.
