Surabaya, Friday, January 17, 2025 – The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) at Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) welcomed a delegation from The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THUAS), Netherlands. The delegation consisted of Dr. Ir. Maikel L. Maloncy, Coordinator of International Relations, Process & Food Technology, Faculty of Technology, Innovation & Society (TIS), Dr. Cindy Mielatz as staff, and two students from THUAS.
The visit was warmly welcomed by FST UNAIR, represented by Prof. Dr. Fatmawati, M.Si., Vice Dean III, Dr. Nurina Fitriani, S.T., Faculty Ambassador, Dr. Eko Prasetyo Kuncoro, S.T., DEA., Head of the Environmental Engineering Undergraduate Program, along with several staff members and students from the Environmental Engineering program.
This exploratory visit, packaged as a strategic meeting, is a continuation of the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Project previously initiated by the Environmental Engineering program at UNAIR.
The meeting agenda included discussions on potential cooperation in various areas, such as staff and student mobility, joint research/publication, joint classes, and other international activities. This collaboration is expected to bring significant benefits to both institutions, particularly in maximizing collaboration opportunities between UNAIR and THUAS, both in academic development and in enhancing students’ competencies on a global scale.
