OPTIMIZING 2026 PERFORMANCE, FST UNAIR LEADERSHIP FORMALIZES THE SIGNING OF DEPARTMENT AND STUDY PROGRAM PERFORMANCE CONTRACTS

Surabaya, January 26, 2026 – As an initial step to strengthen coordination and performance accountability in 2026, the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), Universitas Airlangga, held the Early-Year Leadership Coordination Meeting (Rakorpin) 2026. The meeting took place at the FST Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, on Monday (26/1). The main agenda focused on the signing of Performance Contracts for Departments and Study Programs within FST UNAIR.

Strengthening Strategy and Aligning Performance Targets

The Dean of FST UNAIR, Prof. Dr. Miratul Khasanah, M.Si., opened the meeting with welcoming remarks and a presentation on faculty strategy. In her address, she emphasized the importance of systematic cascading of performance targets from the university level down to departments and study programs. Through this approach, all units within FST can move in the same direction to achieve the annual targets.

Subsequently, Vice Dean I, Vice Dean II, and Vice Dean III presented strategies for achieving performance targets according to their respective areas. These presentations provided clear operational guidance for the implementation of faculty programs throughout 2026.

Performance Contract Signing and Interactive Discussion

Following the presentations, the Dean and Vice Deans led an interactive discussion with Heads of Departments and Study Program Coordinators. This session served to align perspectives, strengthen coordination, and anticipate potential challenges in implementing the performance contracts.

The meeting then continued with the formal signing of performance contracts by Heads of Departments and Study Program Coordinators in the presence of the Faculty’s Deanery. This signing reflects a concrete commitment by academic leaders to carry out education, research, and community service in a measurable manner over the coming year.

Performance Appreciation and Ongoing Commitment

The meeting was attended by the complete leadership of FST UNAIR, including Vice Deans, Heads and Secretaries of Departments, Study Program Coordinators, as well as leaders of strategic units such as the Faculty Advisory Board (BPF), Information Systems Unit (USI), Quality Assurance Unit (SPM), and administrative staff.

Through strong coordination and the early formalization of performance contracts, FST UNAIR reaffirms its commitment to continuously improving academic quality and strengthening its research contributions at the international level. This shared commitment is expected to enhance the productivity of the academic community and reinforce FST UNAIR’s competitiveness.
