It is a national selection pattern based on the results of tracking academic achievement using report cards from semester 1 (one) to semester 5 (five) for SMA/MA and SMK/MAK with a study period of 3 (three) years or semester 1 (one) to semester 7 (seven) for SMK/MAK with a study period of 4 (four) years and an academic portfolio.
It is a selection conducted by PTN jointly under the coordination of the Central Committee based on the results of a written exam using a computer (CBT) or a combination of written exam results and a skills test for prospective students.
It is a selection intended for high school graduates (SMA, SMK, MA, and Equivalency Exam) both from within and outside the country who have the academic ability to follow and complete higher education well.
