KUALA PILAH – ‘UiTM Multidisciplinary Exhibition’ was one of the programs arranged by the Global Outreach Program 2.0 (GOP 2.0) held on January 29 at UiTM Cawangan Negeri Sembilan Kuala Pilah Campus (UiTMCNS Kuala Pilah Campus).
The program is under the auspices of the School of Chemistry and Environment, Faculty of Applied Sciences, UiTM Cawangan Negeri Sembilan, Kuala Pilah Campus.
Through this activity, every academic position at the UiTMCNS Kuala Pilah Campus has the opportunity to interact more closely with the UNAIR delegation through the exhibition of research, innovation, and teaching achievements from each department.
In addition to the UNAIR delegation, Professor Dato ‘Dr. Nasrudin Mohammed as the Rector of UiTMCNS together with Vice Rector of Academic Affairs, Associate Prof. Dr. Abdul Halim Ramli and Vice Rector of Research, Industrial Network, Community, and Alumni, Dr. Nur Jannah Azman also went to the exhibition.
The exhibition has succeeded in realizing an internationalization platform to increase the visibility of the academic achievements of UiTMCNS, Kuala Pilah Campus and to open collaborative spaces among programs in this campus with the Faculty of Science and Technology, UNAIR.
One of the main agendas for the Global Outreach Program 2.0 is the discussion of the details of the MoU/MoA content that will be made by UiTM Cawangan Negeri Sembilan and Airlangga University.
The expected date of the MoU/MoA signing is in August 2019.
This discussion was not only joined by the representatives of the School of Chemistry and Environment, but also involved all the programs and study centers located at UiTM Kuala Pilah Campus.
The list of programs and study centers involved were:
1. Academic Center for Laguage Studies
2. Academic Center for Management and Business
3. Center for Computer and Mathematical Sciences
4. School of Biology
5. School of Physics and Applied Sciences
6. School of Industrial Technology
This discussion program was chaired by Associate Prof. Dr. Abdul Halim Ramli.
The representatives of UNAIR’s leaders who attended the discussion program were Prof. Win Darmanto, Dean and Dr. Nanik Siti Aminah, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, Indonesia.
